Frequently Asked Questions
What is Rhode and why is it popular?
+
Rhode is a skincare and beauty brand founded by Hailey Bieber in 2022. The brand focuses on hydration, barrier support, and minimalist skincare routines. Rhode became popular for its ‘glazed skin’ aesthetic and viral products like the Peptide Lip Treatment and Pocket Blush.
What is the Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment?
+
It is Rhode's hero product — a high-shine, deeply nourishing lip balm with peptides, shea butter and squalane that treats and glosses lips in one step. It works as a daily balm and an overnight lip mask.
What is the difference between the Lip Treatment and the Lip Tint?
+
The Peptide Lip Treatment is a clear, nourishing balm focused on care and shine. The Peptide Lip Tint delivers the same nourishing base with a sheer, buildable wash of colour.
What is 'glazed skin' and which Rhode products give it?
+
Glazed skin is a dewy, glass-like finish. Layer the Glazing Milk, then the Glass Skin Serum (Peptide Glazing Fluid), and refresh through the day with the Hydrating Glazing Mist.
Is Rhode good for Indian humidity and oily skin?
+
Yes. The Glazing Milk and Glazing Fluid are lightweight and layer well in heat and humidity. Save the richer Barrier Restore Cream for night, air-conditioned environments or winter.
In what order should I use Rhode skincare?
+
Cleanse with the Pineapple Refresh Cleanser, then Glazing Milk, then the Glass Skin Serum, and seal with Barrier Restore Cream. Always finish with your own SPF in the morning, as Rhode does not make a sunscreen.
Which Rhode kit should a beginner buy?
+
The Glaze Kit and Glow Set bundle Rhode's bestsellers at better value and are the easiest way to try the core routine. The Travel and Summer kits are great for sampling on the go.
Where can I buy authentic Rhode products in India?
+
Rhode does not currently have an official retail presence in India. Authentic Rhode products can be purchased online through trusted resellers such as Luxe by Kan, where items are sourced from verified global retailers and authenticated before dispatch.
Are Rhode products on Luxe by Kan 100% authentic?
+
Yes. Luxe by Kan states that all Rhode products are sourced from verified global retailers in the US, UK, and EU, and are LegitApp verified before dispatch.
Is Rhode skincare suitable for Indian skin types?
+
Yes. Rhode’s formulas focus on hydration, ceramides, peptides, and barrier support, which can work well for Indian skin exposed to pollution, humidity, and changing climates. The lightweight textures are also generally comfortable in warm weather.
Is Luxe by Kan an official retailer or a reseller for Rhode?
+
Luxe by Kan is an independent importer and reseller of Rhode products in India. It is not Rhode’s official distributor or retail partner.
What makes Rhode different from other skincare brands available in India?
+
Rhode focuses on a small, curated range of multi-purpose skincare and beauty essentials rather than a large catalogue. Its peptide-based formulas, minimalist branding, and functional packaging have helped the brand stand out globally.
Why are Rhode products priced higher in India than on the US website?
+
Rhode products in India may cost more due to international shipping, customs duties, GST, import handling, and third-party authentication costs. Prices from independent resellers often include these charges upfront.
Which Rhode product should a first-time buyer start with?
+
Popular beginner-friendly options include the Peptide Lip Treatment and curated Rhode Kits. Skincare-focused buyers also commonly start with the Pineapple Refresh Cleanser.
Does Luxe by Kan deliver Rhode products across India?
+
Yes. Luxe by Kan offers pan-India delivery, including major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Kolkata.
Are new Rhode launches and limited editions available at Luxe by Kan?
+
Yes. Luxe by Kan regularly updates its Rhode collection with new launches and selected limited-edition releases, subject to availability.
Is Rhode Glazing Milk a toner?
+
Yes. Glazing Milk is an essence-toner hybrid rather than a traditional astringent toner. It is a milky, hydrating step applied after cleansing to damp skin, and it supports the skin barrier while helping the serums and moisturisers layered over it absorb more effectively.
How do you use the Rhode Pineapple Refresh Cleanser?
+
Apply a small amount to dry or damp skin and massage gently, where the balm texture transforms into a light foam that lifts makeup, SPF and daily buildup. Rinse with lukewarm water and follow with Glazing Milk Toner on damp skin. It can be used morning and evening, or as a second cleanse in the evening.
What is Rhode best known for?
+
Rhode is best known for its peptide lip products, particularly the Peptide Lip Treatment and Peptide Lip Tint, along with the Glazing Milk Toner and Glass Skin Serum. The lip balm phone cases and bubble bags have also become widely recognised beyond the skincare range.
Does Rhode make eye patches or sunscreen?
+
Rhode makes a Peptide Eye Prep for the under-eye area, but it does not currently produce hydrocolloid under-eye patches or a sunscreen. Since the range has no SPF product, finish your morning Rhode routine with a separate sunscreen.
How do you use the Rhode skincare routine?
+
Cleanse first, apply Glazing Milk Toner to damp skin, follow with Glass Skin Serum, then seal with Barrier Restore Cream. Use the Hydrating Glazing Mist to refresh through the day. Rhode does not make a sunscreen, so finish the morning routine with your own SPF.
Is Rhode suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?
+
The core range is lightweight and barrier-focused rather than heavy or occlusive, which generally suits oily and combination skin. Rhode also makes hydrocolloid Spotwear patches for individual blemishes. As with any new skincare, patch test first if your skin is sensitive or reactive.
Which Rhode phone case fits my phone?
+
The Rhode Lip Balm Phone Case is a silicone bubble case made in a range of iPhone fits and colourways, designed to hold a Peptide Lip Treatment alongside the phone. There is also a Snap-On Lip Balm Holder that works with MagSafe cases if you prefer to keep your existing case.
